Have a better picture which would give us an idea where it is on the transmission?

this is located on top / front of transmission it appears to have some sort springloaded type deal u can turn it but doesn’t come out with that being said (hubby thinks that slot is for some of. Tool to slide in and takes it out)
I’ve included a close up of the part I’m referring to it’s white in color plus a picture that circle the transmission

It could be the tranny temperature sensor. The circled part in the other picture is the solenoid. Download the FSM from the sticky thread and it would have a diagram of which is which.

That had been replaced I thinking shift solenoid
