My other cars had a method of doing this, I have a 300 ft driveway with a manual gate and it goes off and it's starting to get annoying, also at work I sometimes need to get from the office to the hanger while on property (slow speeds) and its annoying. Can the chime be turned off?

My 2010 Subaru Outback seatbelt chime can be activated and deactivated by buckling and unbuckling 20 times in 30 seconds with the key in the acc position. My 2014 Focus was something similar, found it on the respective forums. I still have the Outback, and the chime is off but the light on the dash remains on till the belt is buckled.

Yes...thanks, I get that. I work inside an airport where the speeds are 10-15 mph and have to go between an office and hanger within 30 seconds multiple times per day. I also get out to open my gate at home then jump back in to drive to the house an entire 5 seconds and the chime comes on for a 250-300 ft drive from the gate to the garage.

I put my belt on every time I go driving on public roads, its habit and I understand why the system is there, but there should be a way to turn the chime off.

I have a Chimex that I would use in my Mini. It looks like it would work great here.

When you put over 40lbs in the passenger seat the Mini thinks there's a person there and keeps chiming.

My subaru is disabled as well using the 20 clicks in 30 seconds. It's for techs while they're on a test drive. I tired it on the Pilot to no avail.
