No air from front vents

A few days back the front air on my 2004 Honda Pilot stopped working.

Observations:
1) Air comes out of the rear vents just like it would normally.
2) When clicking the rear mode manual button on the front dash while controls are set to high and the rear is set to low or off, then nothing comes out of the front or the rear. This leads me to believe that everything in the rear is working as expected but something in the front is broken (and not blowing out any air).
3) I can see and hear the blender vent (right term?) moving

I assumed the lack of any air movement in the front meant a bad blower motor. I picked one up from Napa last night, installed it and it still doesn't work.

Any idea what the problem could be?

I had the same issue and it turned out to be the AC transistor which is located close to the blower motor. Mine would come on for a second, and then would not blow at all. I replaced the part and everything worked fine after. I also checked the blower motor which worked fine when hooked up directly to a battery.

If you’re talking about the blower wheel, you’ll need to remove the blower motor assembly from the Pilot. I’ve cleaned a bathroom fan blower wheel with a toothbrush but it was only covered with towel and/or TP lint. Depending on how dirty the blower wheel is you might need to remove it from the motor shaft . . . I’m sure others will chime in if it’s easy to separate the two.
