Here are the pics of the old pump and filter.

I'm going through the same thing with a leaking washer pump/grommet on a 2009 pilot.

Does anyone know the purpose of the round plastic cover that clips on to the bottom of the oem washer pump (pictured here)?

And what is the purpose of that notch that is built in to the reservoir tank? I feel that it is preventing a solid seating of the pump, especially with the plastic clip attached.

Hi I have a slow leak/droplet between the rubber grommet and where the front windshield water pump sits. I have changed the rubber grommet for the rear and front. I have applied RTV silicone gasket around the rubber grommet and where the water pump sits and still get a leak. However, I still notice a small puddle in the morning. Do you guys think I need to replace the washer pump?

I have the same exact problem. It's really hard to tell if it's leaking from below the pump or if the leak is actually coming from the pump itself in any case I'm just going to go ahead and replace the pump with an aftermarket ACI part

Logan, I actually saw the leak/droplets coming from the rubber grommet and washer pump connection. I changed out the rubber grommet and applied RTV silicone as others have adviced. I’m thinking of just changing out the washer pump itself because there may be a crack somewhere or something that I don’t see within the pump. I just wanted to see if someone fix their problem with changing out the washer pumps. I might buy one off Amazon than buying one at Honda for $35+tax.

I'm going to try https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000CEN2IG/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'll report back when I get put in

Please do let me know. I was also looking at Trico 11-614 Spray Windshield Washer Pump from Amazon. I’ve never heard of ACI, but seems like it has good reviews on Amazon.
The good news: replacing the pump (with the aftermarket ACI brand) stopped the leak. There must have been some micro crack or busted seam in the old pump that was causing it to leak. Whatever it was I couldn't see it with my bare eyes. But I'm wondering if it could have been fixed with some plastic adhesive.
One thing to note, there is a notch on the plastic reservoir tank near the rubber grommet that is meant to interlock specifically with the oem pump. The aftermarket pump doesn't have an indentation to fit with this notch, but is still held secure by the tank.

The Bad news: just 24 hours after installing the new pump, the rear pump started leaking, figures😣

After noticing some windshield washer fluid on the garage floor, I tracked the leak location to the bottom of the pump for the windshield on my 2010 EXL. That is the pump closer to the engine on the rear side of the fluid reservoir. As far as I can tell the other pump for the rear window (closer to the wheel well) and the sensor location on the front side seem to be leak free (knock on wood). Below are some pics that I took of the leak location (sorry for orientation).

It would seem from these that the leak is coming from where the base of the pump meets the reservoir. Looking at parts diagrams it appears that there is a gasket on the bottom of the pump where it connects to the filter stem. Although I am not sure if this part is sold separately or comes with the pump or filter stem (separate parts).

Has anyone replaced this pump and can advise me on which part is needed?
There is a video on YT about lifting the pump and adding RTV around the grommet. Has anyone else tried this and did it work? Here's a link to video:

In my case, the leak was coming from the pump itself, although was really difficult to tell. I started off Replacing the grommets with no luck, but replacing the pumps ended up being solution for me.
