Mistuboshi is excellent and that's the brand that comes with the Aisin Timing belt Kit TKH002, which I'm happy with of course, but I'm also quite confident in the quality of the Continental serpentine belt I bought, and I wouldn't hesitate to use the Bando 6PK21135 either.

They are all good, and it's nice to have a choice among top quality parts (for a change, and caveat emptor on eBay for authenticity :)), so your choice in this case can easily come down to convenience of purchase, delivery and price. (y)

One thing I suggest, though, is to get a kit which includes the tensioner and the idler pulley, if at this point in time your first generation still rolls with the originals. Absolutely necessary? Perhaps not, but it's one of those good things to take care of with the proverbial "while you're in there."

Edit: I've attached the installation instructions for good measure.

What belts does Honda use ?
In post #45 of this thread, my photos of my original belt on my 2017 Pilot indicate one made in Indonesia. I don’t know who the manufacturer was. I replaced it with Bando. Honda has used Mitsuboshi, Bando, and Gates. Possibly others. I avoid Gates. No longer a fan of their products. I believe if you buy an OEM serpentine belt it’s made by Mitsuboshi.., for now.., until they change again.

Thanks I just bought Mitsboshi . Lil more but prob worth it .I'm due for my 100,000 mile tune up. Off TOPIC... Did my timing belt, brakes , transmission flush 10,000 miles ago . Just need serpentine and spark plugs which I just order now. What do all think about shocks and struts? I'm I due or when should I change?

I’d inspect them to see if they are leaking fluid. How’s the ride? Any clunking noise over rough roads? If not, I’d keep going on what I got.

I'd have to check but from quick look , looks fine. I feel like sometimes shocks in back my sag a lil when I pack the car for road trips. And not sure about clunking noise when going over rough road, pilot has 118,500 miles .

I use Mitsuboshi timing belts for their fine quality. This is a very critical component. For a V grove belt, I can not see an advantage paying $40 for this brand. Maybe someday Mitsuboshi will come out with a better marketing strategy for their serpentine belts.

I noticed there are a few people using Bando Brand from Rock Auto if I could not purchase the OEM from Majestic then I would order the Bando as recommended by fellow Pilot owners on this thread. I have been burned in the past purchasing other brands that did not fit properly on my Pilot and I do not want to go through that ever again. So thanks for recommending another brand that I just might have to order in a pinch.

Bando 6PK2135 from RockAuto are very well made in the USA. The price is nice too.
