Windows and Sunroof Crack Automatically

I have this intermittent issue where all four windows and the sunroof roll down about an inch when opening the door. This happens when unlocking the vehicle using the door handle or the FOB. I'm careful to not hold the unlock button down too long and the problem occurs with both FOBS. Anyone else experience this issue?

I might be the only one, but your wording is a bit confusing.

Remotely rolling down your windows is a feature when you hold the unlock button.

Hearing about all the windows rolling down upon unlocking the vehicle is definitely a first for me. I've got an EX-L, but hopefully, someone with a Touring model could chime in about this issue.

I don’t know what causes it, but I once got into my ‘17 Elite and all the windows and sunroof were cracked about an inch. I couldn’t tell if all the windows had been cracked overnight, or somehow opened when I unlocked the car. I hardly ever use the buttons my fob though. I hope someone knows because I’d like to avoid doing it again!

As others have stated, the button needs a quick press and release. If you hold the button down it will begin the "air out" where all of the windows and sunroof open to let hot air out during the summer.

Yeah but....
The other morning outside the hotel all the windows and sunroof were wide open. I understand that if you press the unlock button once and then press and hold the windows roll down as long as you hold the button. I can't believe that the fob in my cargo pants pocket was pressed by accident long enough for the windows and sunroof to open all the way - a crack maybe, but all the way takes a solid press for several seconds.

Had this on a 12' and thought we lost it on the 17'. Pressed x2 and held the 3rd time. It's to help get the heat out faster on a hot summer day. I actually like the feature and it includes the sunroof which is a bonus. I don't think it's an easy thing to do in our pocket. I believe it has to be more deliberate to work.

I've set plenty of car alarms off in my pocket (especially Nissan with the intelligent key, my wife's old Rogue on a weekly basis). I've also owned Hondas that have this feature for the better part of 10 years, not once have I accidentally opened the windows.

I had the same issue on my 2017 Pilot Touring Nov 2017 purchase. Keys where not pressed but still windows/sunroof partially opened. Called Honda Support , they asked me to setup an appointment with the dealer to see if Keyfob is transmitting signals even when not depressed. No solution on this issue yet. will post what i find after checking with the dealer. Stay tuned...
