IS it like one on special edition GX?
Yes, most are not quite that bright.

Subaru is not bad:

Ford also.

I know I have seen others, but don;t recall the brands. Somea re lighter, which I like.

Only downside is it would be tougher to see the car when hiking out. It is always encouraging to see the car.

GX color is tricky, it looks pretty good in youtube video reviews I saw.

"None of the colors Honda offers" is the only correct answer here.

I would love olive/forest green, or even brown. Unlikely to ever happen with Honda. But then, I want a manual transmission too, but that's never gonna happen with any modern tech-laden, nanny-equipped CUV. I accept that. A bit harder for me to accept the very limited range of paint choices from Honda. Harder still to accept the hideous Diffuse Sky Blue option for the Trailsport; surely they could have up with something better than that one for their "look at me, I'm special" color.

I settled for the "I only look purple under certain lighting" Sonic Grey Pearl option for the Trailsport I have "on order". Might have gone with Modern Steel Metallic if it was available for the Trailsport trim (it's not). Dark blue's not a Trailsport option either. Have had Black vehicles in the past, just too hard to keep clean. Silver is, um, "OK", but we've already got a CR-V in that same color. Just don't like white, and the red is too bright.

Just give me forest/olive green. With a manual.

I like the Cypress Green that Toyota is offering. Someone posted about colors that aren't mineral/metallic, white or black. I've noticed on some of the old TV shows from the late 70s and early 80s and I really had forgotten that cars were so colorful back then. We've gone into the grey zone in the past 20 years. Bring back more colors!!

Are you guys trying for this look or something?

This is the "green" I want on a Trailsport. I really like this shade of green when combined with black trim bits and wheels (like on a Trailsport). Honda should have done something like this instead of the Diffuse Sky Blue. Toyota called it "Army Green". No longer available on the Taco, replaced by hideous "Electric Lime" instead.

Well I can safely say that I would never in a million years want a car or truck in that color. But having choices is a good thing!

Nah.............

The color election is rigged. the poll lists only the colors Honda that actually decided to let us see. I want to see all the pitches the designer folks made for off-beat colors before settling on Diffuse Sky Blue as the odd-ball color of the year. The actual question is What color does the new Pilot look best in? Based on the comments scattered throughout this thread, "green" is the real winner. I want a new poll, with green included.:giggle:

Ummm you CAN get your car done in green. I've seen bright pink or bright green Lambos and other things. Take your Pilot to a paint shop and get them to paint it green!

I don’t see much of a difference in paint quality between Honda and Acura except the Acura PMC editions, with both being slightly above average.
In contrast, Toyota cars feel like they were painted by monkeys and Lexus by professionals with additional coating.

I'm late to the game on this post, but I'm really not happy with any of the colors. I have a 2012 EX-L in the Dark Cherry Pearl, and I was so hoping that color would make an appearance. I can't stand the bright red. I might could stomach the black or sonic gray, but the lack of a beautiful dark red has turned me off.

Actual photo of mine the day I bought it. They had to move 3 cars out of the way to get it out of the showroom.

I went in wanting a Sonic Grey, but A) this one was the only one available for sale that day, and B) once I saw it in person I fell in love with the color.

Yes it does stand out. IMO the blue pairs beautifully with the black accents. I get almost as many comments on it as I do with my Soul Red Miata RF.

I bought a Cookie Monster sticker for the back side window just to point out what color it looked like to me.

Life is too short to drive boring cars!
