What color choice are folks going for on the new pilot?
Not the answer you’re looking for, but I haven’t even seen teasers suggesting the reviews have been or are being conducted. Usually most reviewers give a hint of what’s coming up. I can only speak for those that I tend to follow, though.Does anyone know when the embargo date is for online car reviewers to put videos up on youtube?
i am thinking the same. its kind off odd no? THe pilot is being delviered to customers and dealerships already, but HOnda is holding out? THey are worried reviews will not be favourable? Not the answer you’re looking for, but I haven’t even seen teasers suggesting the reviews have been or are being conducted. I mentioned this in another topic, but the Kia Telluride refresh hit the lots before Kia had detailed pricing announced and before the website was even updated. No press drives, nothing. This went on for a couple weeks before website was updated. Only reviews posted were done at dealerships.i am thinking the same. its kind off odd no? Other manufacturers host media days etc.

In the last couple years that hasn't been odd at all, especially for Honda. I'm waiting patiently as well.I mentioned this in another topic, but the Kia Telluride refresh hit the lots before Kia had detailed pricing announced and before the website was even updated. My guess is supply is low. Sales are guaranteed right now as there aren’t enough vehicles to go around. There isn’t a rush to build word of mouth when you can’t even keep up basic supply.
Also, I’m pretty sure anyone on this forum is not the normal customer. We tend to be a bit more excitable and impatient. Most people aren’t that excited over a new Pilot. Haha
Feel like these should go in the "Videos" threadThere is no embargo on YouTube reviews. They can do what they want once they have been delivered to dealers. Supply is low initially so it might be a while before they all have access to a Pilot. There is already one review out there

The best color is the color which you like best! What color choice are folks going for on the new pilot?
The best color for any car is black.....if it is clean, and white if it is not! What color choice are folks going for on the new pilot?
I keep getting black cars too. Look so clean and sharp! Then winter salts come and they look like crap! The best color for any car is black.....if it is clean, and white if it is not!

Owner of 3 black on black cars and one that is hemi orange ;-)
While I don't like red or yellow on a family SUV, I did vote for Diffused Blue. My next vehicle will likely be a Suburban/Yukon XL base model and I'm hoping the greens they have stick around so I can get one.Ii is so funny how Americans which I am one hate colored cars. You can see by the poll and parking lots all cars are black, which , gray. I like colored cars and will never buy black white and gray.
I also wonder why our culture does not likes colors. My thought is that Americans do not like risk/attention and buy a color can be risky and stand out.
Another thought is people concern about resale value feeling that you car will sell better if majority of people like the color of your car - black, white, gray. The irony is that since everyone buys those colors the resale value is lower because there are a ton on the used market and that rare red, blue, yellow car has more value.
Not an American by birth but I live there. I would buy green in a heartbeat if it was available. For pilot I wasn't sure between red and blue. Yellow I would buy only in something like Porsche Cayman or other 2 seaters.Ii is so funny how Americans which I am one hate colored cars. I like White/Silver/Blue, followed by Grey/Green/Beige. Colors I would never buy are black, red, brown, etc.Not an American by birth but I live there. Blue is definitely tricky, I have seen few very good blues and some pretty bad, same goes for red. I like pilot's blue color. My last car was white as I wanted red interior and I have silver car now.I like White/Silver/Blue, followed by Grey/Green/Beige. Colors I would never buy are black, red, brown, etc.
IS it like one on special edition GX?I also like a lot of the olive-y colors that several manufacturers offer.
