A few months ago, the painted cover to my 2011 Pilot's fuel filler door fell off. I was able to find a replacement from an auto salvage yard in the same color, but I cannot find any resources on how to remove the existing door/component, and replace with the "new" one. I've searched this forum and found an old thread that referenced pages 208 and 209 in a "manual", but there were no attachments or description of that manual.
The "new" fuel filler door I have includes the insert along with the door (see pics). I cannot figure out how to remove the existing door/insert, and I haven't been able to find a manual online that will show me the steps. Does anyone have any insight on how to do this replacement? Thank you!
