Our 2012 Pilot Touring has Michelin Defender LTX M/S 245/60/R18 tires needing replacement.
We were very happy with them.
But as we've just learned, Michelin discontinued that size in the Defender LTX M/S2 successor.
Not happy!
We want something equal or better. Our needs:
Live in Connecticut but travel throughout New England and out west to SD, MT, WY, ID in summer/fall.
Heavy snow is less important than good rain/wet/light snow handling and braking.
Need sidewalls to handle loading like LTX.
Road noise not worse than LTX.
Tread life not as important since we travel less now.
90% highway/paved road
10% light off road
(forestry/conservation, sand/beach, rough dirt/gravel).
Needs to not mush out on turns.
What have you replaced your Defender LTX M/S 245/60/R18's with and been happy?
Thanks all!!!
