Long time lurker, first time poster... have enjoyed this community for years.

Recently ran over a screw in my 2019 EX 2WD and the tire couldn't be plugged. Requested OEM replacement to match the other three. Noticed when I got home that they gave me a Dueler H/L 422 Ecopia instead of the H/P Sport AS. It's the correct size, but the load index/speed rating is a 104T instead of the OEM's 105H. I don't do any towing with this vehicle. Is this anything to worry about?

l;ooks like close enough, i order my tires from ebay and have a spare full size with the right size tire already so i dont have to just use what ever they have. but should be fine with exception of diff tread pattern. put it on the back wheels. (funny i usually keep my bad tires in the back with my fwd, but it says they should go in the front on all teh sites. but a front tire blow out is always worse then a rear so its strange to me.

just means dont go 118mph the T is rated for 130 mph.

Actually the ratings are as follows:

S-112 mph
T-118 mph
H-130 mph
V-149 mph
Z-149+
W - 168 mph

I'm sure that you can exceed these "recommendations" for a short period, but I wouldn't run hours at a time at 120 mph on S-rated tires. I'd restrict it to maybe a 30 second burst to be safe.

Pilots appear to be restricted to 110 mph anyway, so there's that. I wish they would let people drive what they feel like. My MDX went 124 mph before I ran out of guts. Basically same car.

Our Pilot is a nice car and plenty capable at highway speeds, I have zero interest in going 100+ in it for more than a passing maneuver. No interest in being in a turn and seeing how it handles a midcorner bump at those speeds.

Regarding OPs concerns - I personally am too OCD to let a different rating and different tread tire stay on my vehicle for long, but that may be my curse to deal with. I'd bet this will cause no issues, especially if you keep it in the rear.

Same here, we're cursed.

I'm sure it won't make a difference but the treadwear might be annoying later on when one wears faster then the other.

Regardless, I'd have a conversation with the tire shop, if you asked for the same tire and they didn't give you the same....

Nope. Zero chance I'd let that ride.

Discount it or do what I asked. I think that would piss me off more then the tire and maybe it's a better tire.

It could have been a 30 second phone call but nope, they assumed you wouldn't notice.

Sorry. I have little patience for carelessness.

In fairness doesn't @Nail Grease say that stock Dueller H/P Sport are worthless? Maybe I'm miss remembering.
But again, maybe it's a good thing.
