2005 Honda Pilot EX-L: cleaned the throttle valve (it looked fine), changed battery, checked fuses, replaced ETCS relay, and still in limp mode (VSA light, VTm-4 light, MIL LIGHT, and the triangle with the exclamaition mark light are all on). The car previously had the MIL light come on and off for about a year. The code for that was P0420, which states Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshhold as the problem, noting the bank 1 O2 sensor as the problem. Could the issue with limp mode be from an O2 sensor going bad? Would that be enough to put it in limp mode? The exhaust smells fine, although it is a little warmer than I would expect it to be. There doesn't seem to be any leaks, so I'm guessing my catalytic converters are all good. Anyone have insight that they could provide, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Alright. I'm going to take a shot in the dark.
Under the hood Honda DBW systems include a relay in one of the fuse boxes. I'm thinking that the relay associated with the DBW system may be faulty. Not sure if this is one of those Omrom relays that are causing problems or not.
Problem is the relays are not identified here. So some more research is needed.
