LED fog lights in the Elite?

I purchased a 2016 Elite earlier this month and love it!

The Elite has LED headlights and the fog lights are not LED. I don't like the difference in colors and would like to replace the current fog lights with LED bulbs. Is this possible? If so, what kind of bulbs would I need and how much would it cost?

Thanks!

You need H8 type bulbs. Cost varies depending on the model you get but I installed Philips Ultinon 6000k and like the look.

For a cheaper alternative I chose these

They match the led headlight perfectly.

I used these. They are a little bit bluer than I had hoped for but are way brighter than the OE H8 halogens.

JR, It took me right an hour to do both sides, but I also replaced the driver's side lamp assembly which took a hit from a rock & shattered the lens.

I just replaced my fog lights with Led and it only required a Philips screw driver. Removal of 3 screws in the wheel well. Turn the steering wheel over. Disconnect the harness and twist the bulb. It took me 10 mins total to do it. I can't post pics. I'm using my ipad

Hi, I have a 2017 Pilot Elite and wanted to replace all the lights inside and out that are not LED to LED. I'm not the most skilled guy (read clumsy) when it comes to removing plastic covers etc especially if they have those tabs that can break easily. Do you guys recommend I take it to a shop or are there videos/tutorials showing where to avoid putting too much pressure?

Been out of the modding game for years so consider myself a noob again.

Also any one have any preffered brands after having them on for a year or so?

A shop will rip you right off. Even if you managed to crack a few of the light covers, I would imagine buying new ones and having them shipped would be a cheaper option. The interior LEDs are really really easy. Use a plastic pry tool or a strong plastic butter knife. As far as brands for t10 bulbs, I went with the Yorkims but a few needed to be replaced due to led flicker. I would go with either Phillips, on the high end of the spectrum, or most anything from Amazon's house brands which are SiriusLED and JDM Astar. Just take your time and breathe, lol. You'll be fine and welcome aboard Piloteer.

I used these on my 2017 Elite

They perform extremely well under the weather and give you beautiful JDM look. My only issue with is that, I wish they were a 3000k vs. 2500.
iJDMtoy used to carry the 3000k, but discontinued it for some unknown reason.
I had a pair of 3000k on a 2010 Lexus GS350 for 6 years before selling it to my brother and they are still working.

Here is a photo. They look a little orangish in the picture, but they are in fact golden yellow.
I love the JDM look and most importantly they help a lot with visibility.
What's the difference between the 3000k and the 2500k that you mentioned in a previous comment? Also, did you follow any kind of video to switch out the lights? I'm thinking of making this switch myself to add a little uniqueness to my Pilot

Also, are they a big improvement over the stock 2016 Elite's foglights? I've used my fog lights and I'm not too impressed by how much increased visibility they provide.

yes they are plug & play. The fog light bulb size for 2016-2018 all Pilot fog light bulb size are H8/H11.
You don’t need an adapter. The plug is extended out from the cooling fins so that the heat doesn’t melt the plug. Those cooling fins get hot.

Those instructional videos is exactly how I installed mine except, I took extra time to make sure I had the beam right. I did it in side of the garage or a wall works too.
