Purchasing OEM Accessories

Is there a generally accepted best place to purchase OEM accessories?

I have used H and A Accessories for other Honda vehicles and plan to use them again for a 2016 Pilot that is on order.

You can find them at www.handa.com

Most pricing is similar to Bernardi from those I compared

They are offering 25% off ground shipping right now (and 50% off their 3-day shipping rate) which is what tipped me over the edge to using them.

Also a free Honda mousepad if you want one with your order :)

I used hondapartworld.com: quick and helpful.

I used hondapartworld.com because the prices were about the same, but the shipping was fast and less expensive; they are in the Washington state, so it was 3 days shipping to Idaho. Just a consideration when you get to checkout, because it was much more expensive to ship from Rhode Island for example.

Bernardi Honda
College Hills Honda
And several others
I purchased a number of accessories from College Hills Honda. From a part by part comparison it looks as if Bernardi Honda is a couple $ less.

I haven't tried Bernardi but the pre/sales/shipping support provided by College Hills Honda is stellar.

Personally, I feel more comfortable buying accessories from a Honda dealer versus a generic parts distributer that probably sells accessories for many different auto makers. My postulation (some might say assumption) is a Honda dealer's parts guy should get the order right.

Of course, I'm not a fan of Craigslist or eBay either.

Check out the folks at PROCLIPUSA.COM
They have a HUGE selection of mounts, for devices, custom vehicle mounts, etc.

I would suggest PANAVISE, but they do not make any mounts for 2009 and later Pilots for some reason. Proclip has about three variations!

What have my Canadian counterparts done for accessories?

Bernardi & other US based retailers (even with currency exchange) are a lot cheaper than local dealers.

Chrome Running Boards (no lights) $652 vs. $1,020
Body Side Molding $223 vs $393
Crossbars $235 vs $340
Cargo Tray Folding $110 vs. $152

To save a few hundred dollars I'd rather order them online, pick up at a broker and install myself. Wondering if anyone has had issues with install as I doubt the US/CDN models differ dramatically when they are the same part #'s.
