Interesting OBD2 Bi-Directional Scanner for our Honda vehicles, rather inexpensive too.

Scotty Kilmer was raving about a Bi-Directional OBD2 scanner dedicated strictly to Toyota. Well, the company also makes a scanner that is Honda only. A Bi-Directional scanner for under $200, or a 2023 model for around $110, pretty hard to beat. The reviews are pretty solid, Scotty was impressed, actually so am I, as I just bought a bi-directional scanner for around $400... Wish I would have found this one prior. I did not know they even made such a thing. Here is the link on Amazon, others are selling it too, so shop around.

My go-to is the Foxwell tools like the NT510 or NT530.

says lifetime updates but what does that mean... one update a year... one update every other year? or maybe updated only until the new model is released.
I too purchased a mid level topdon scanner on sale. it's the arti-diag and is very user friendly and mildly responsive, gets very regular updates and reads loads of live data from all 3 of my Honda vehicles. newer vehicles report much more data from the computers than older and support more active tests

I figure with these older Hondas, there is more than likely not going to be substantive updates. These are pretty much what they are when compared to these newer vehicles, which are an engineering nightmare in my book. I was thinking for the guy like myself that has two older Hondas in the house, this little scanner, and being bi-directional, could really be a bargain and handy tool.
