Or just opt for a trim level that comes with it.

 

Has anyone added a heated steering wheel to the new generation of Pilot?

Are you asking has anyone added this feature to an already built and purchased Pilot that is not equipped with heated steering?

 

I'm asking if anyone has purchased the heated steering wheel accessory kit and installed it themselves. The installed pricing for the heated steering wheel to add it to my ordered Touring trim was $707 which is a bit expensive in my opinion. So, I would like to order it online for around $350 and install it myself. However, I cannot find the installation instructions anywhere online for the '23 model, so I'm not sure how involved it is.

This appears to be from the previous generation. The installation guide may be similar for the 4th gen, but not likely identical.

 

I did our 16 MDX, and there were no instructions. Dealer fixed that for me. Not a local one, but the one I bought the kit from.

I gotta say I always thought a heated wheel was like stupid pansy shit and I would never ever pay extra for something like that, but this winter I definitely am enjoying having it on our Pilot!

you cannot order a heated steering wheel on a touring from the factory. but it is an accessory you can add when you get the car
