Can you see the mileage left till empty on the small screen next to the speed gauge and rpm gauges? Haven't been able to figure out to get it on there. it only shows trip milage and outside temperature currently.

Thanks! This is for my 2014 touring .

ASSuming that the system and the Owner's Manual haven't changed between my 2013 and your 2014 Touring, take a look in your Owner's Manual at the Multi-Function Display section. In my manual it starts on page 85, and has at least six pages of info, including on 86 how to get the remaining miles to show up in the "trip computer" area at the top of that little display.

Summary:

From the display you have up now, use the I^ (up arrow) switch on the right side of the steering wheel repeatedly until you see "Trip Computer". Choose that with the "Sel/Reset" toggle behind the arrow toggles. Then use the arrow toggles to scroll through the trip computer display options. Mine seems to default to the instant MPG graph, so you'll need to up- or -down-arrow a few times until the "Range" is displayed. Use the "Sel/Reset" toggle to make the selection and you are done.

Yes there is. At first I was going crazy thinking how does this car not have this feature!

It is in the trip computer , toggle down, it will show eventually. Also if you press Info on the console ( near the Nav and Audio buttons ) you will see an option for an option and somewhere in there you can display it on the screen.

Isn't this just the dash brightness adjuster on the dashboard? It turns to adjust brightness but if you press it, it will toggle thru the mini screen on the dashboard between the gauges, not the center entertainment screen but the dash. It goes from mileage, miles left on tank, oil life, trip a, trip b.

I just got my pilot two days ago. I have tried to follow the owners manual but I can’t figure out this gauge. I don’t even see an option for driver one, just driver two. I don’t see anything on my gauge for mpg. Mine is 2012 touring if that makes a difference. Thanks so much for any help. Also I can’t get past trip a

Use the "I" button and arrows on the right side of the steering wheel to select "trip computer" for the display. That will add the MPG bar graph to the info display.

The choice of "driver 1" and "driver 2" is made when you use a particular key to unlock the car. If you are seeing driver 2 and want to show driver 1, swap to the other key. The key selection also (optionally) adjusts the seat and side mirror positions to match the settings in the seat memory unit each time you unlock a door. On the Touring, one of the programming options is whether you want the seats and mirrors to do that.

If ever there was a good reason to recommend reading the Owner's Manual, our Pilot turned out to be a prime candidate. The array of options and features especially in the Touring trim make the typical "poke and test" learning method obsolete. After trying that method for a few things, and even after the 3 minute dealer sales guy "familiarization" we received with the car, I ended up going through the electronic versions of the manuals cover to cover on a couple plane rides. I can't open work stuff while flying so using the travel time wasn't a deep impact. The electronic version of the manual is available in PDF format from Honda, and is indexed and searchable. So much to learn! Lots of features you'll miss out on if you don't even know they are there.

Enjoy your "new" Pilot, and welcome to Piloteers.
