Emissions System Problem 2017 EX-L

My wife came home with my 2017 EXL with 44,500 miles saying the engine light came on, and the Information icon with the message, Emissions System Problem and ran rough. I drove it and ran like a top, but with all those icons and message. Where to look for the problem and Is this strictly a dealership visit or can I take to my trusted shop?

1st thing you do is to get the trouble codes, this way people here can steer you to the right direction. If you don't have a scanner, goto your mechanic or autozon/advance auto and they will read it for free.

Will do, thanks but this morning the car started fine and there are no warnings. Can they still pull codes without the engine warning sign lit? Thanks.

There may be pending codes stored. Go to an auto parts store and ask them to scan it. Also there is extended warranty for your vehicle for the fuel injectors. If the DTCs listed in the TSB below are reported then Honda will replace the fuel injectors under the warranty.

Turns out the code was for a Rocker Arm Oil Pressure switch. Part is $50 and i'm back in business Thanks to all.
