After searching you tube for an example of how to replace the right rear axle, only found one that covered the subject.
From my understanding, the steps are
1 loosen hub nut
2 remove tire
3 remove shock absorber
4 remove four botls from hub/ trailing arm or two bolts that hold the trailing
arm to the sub-frame
5 remove bolt from upper control arm
6 remove nut from axle
7 rotate hub assembly to remove axle from hub assembly
8 pop axle out of rear differential case
9 insert new axle into rear differential and pop into place
10 repeat steps 7 to 1 in reverse order.

Any advice would be appreciate. Thank you

The video is a good review before tackling this job. I’ve only done the front CV axle and most of the steps you listed are logical steps. Sometimes removing the axle off the trans can be difficult but a slide hammer will help. Use OEM axles whenever possible for best results. Post up your repair (success & struggles) as it will be a good read for other owners.
