Used a HeatShield on my previous car (2006 CTS) and liked it a lot. Before I buy one for my new Pilot, thought see if anything better has come along in the last 14 years. By the way, I like a custom fit.

Tint your windows. Doesn't get more custom than that. Cabin temp is cooler too. Looks better than a heat shield.

The HeatShield and similar go inside the windshield. After a car is parked in the Texas sun for more than 15 minutes, the inside temp climbs above 150 -- with or without tinting. Tinting definitely serves a purpose, and helps with comfort while you're driving, but windshield sunscreen is a necessity here.

I bought a custom Pilot sunshield and would not do without one here in Florida. It keeps the seats and dash in the shade.

I bought one from HandA and it fits perfectly and works very well.
