They're both Honda Pilots, stock wheels 7 years apart.

IIRD- the 08 LX has 16" wheels
and the 15 LX has 17" wheels?

Would they swap straight over, wheel/caliper clearance and all?

TIA

Wow, so wheels from an 08, won't fit a 15? You don't say?
nadda on the adapters for me.
We'll just keep the same wheels on 'em then.
Thanks for the heads up before I even tried the swap.

My wife’s 2007 pilot: 5x114.3 I believe.
My 2006 Honda Ridgeline: 5x120 I believe.

I believe the second generation Pilot (that looks more the size of a ridgeline, and kind of feels like one when driving too I think) switched to the 5x120 PCD.

I put 17” Acura TL wheels on my wife’s 2007 pilot, but didn’t really achieve the better handling I was hoping for, and switched back to the stock 16”.

I went with 245/65/17, the stock size for my Honda Ridgeline. They are oversized, so I could have dropped down in size a bit, but 50 profile would be way too small IMO. 235/70/16 is stock and you can look at tire size comparers to see the % change on the speedo.

Oops, that 17" above was for the Acura. Here is the Pilot size.

235/65/17 shows to be the alternate tire size for an 08 Pilot.
Anyway, just threw this out there for handling purposes. 😁

Tread wasn’t the issue. I use Kumho tires and documented what I did starting at post 8 in this thread I hijacked. bigger wheels for my pilot

OP, if you want 17" rims, I have 2003 Acura MDX rims (17") on my 2008 Pilot now. The Pilot bolt pattern changed in 2010. How do I know? I bought a used set that I thought would fit, alas they did not. 2010 is 5x120, 2009 is 5x114.3. Lesson learned for me.
