For those following at home, we've figured out the source and, to some extent, the cause of the dreaded scrunch. In sum, the inside painted surface of the door rubs on the rubber seal around the door jamb and chatters as it does so. Since one of the two offending surfaces is painted and since we do not all have the same paint I wondered if there might be some correlation between the scrunch and the color of paint. If you have the scrunch, please vote the color of your Pilot.
