What's the word on oil catch cans and warranty coverage, also, I read somewhere that they could be problematic in freezing temps?
I don’t really know about warranty coverage, but I highly doubt it will void it. As for being problematic in freezing temperatures, I’ll find that out when winter comes around since I’d only installed the catch can early this year.

So it has been about a week or so since I last posted so might as well give an update. I ordered an oil catch can elastic weekend and on Monday fabricated a bracket out of some aluminum extrusion I had laying around. Painted it black with VHT paint yesterday and will try to install it this weekend.

On Wednesday, I was trolling my local Craigslist and I came across an ad for some Ridgeline rims. Drove up to Lake Steven’s that afternoon and picked them up. The owner was a very nice gentleman who replaced his rims for ones with the milled face and painted center. The rims had less than 2,000 miles when he did the swap. Two of the rims have some light scratches, the other two are perfect. I think the dark gray color of these rims will look awesome on our Lunar Silver Metallic Pilot. Down the road I will pick some tires. Currently, deciding between some Michelin’s or Toyo AT3s in 265-60R18.

Still haven’t finished up the speaker project. It is always a battle to get the wife to drive the Camry now. I did get in the center dash speaker this last week so will do that before tackling the rear speakers. After some more research, it looks like most of the rear trim panels would need to come out to access the tweeters. Not something I want to do right now. So that project has moved down the priority list.

I was able to install the oil catch can today. It went real easy since all of the bracket fab work was completed earlier in the week. After getting all of the lines hooked up, I found that the engine cover was contacting the PCV houses. I trimmed the edge
radiused the corners to try and give the hoses some additional clearance. The next oil change is coming up in about 3K miles so we will see how much oil we will be keeping off of the valves.

I installed a Console Vault safe in ‘21 Pilot yesterday. I have four children and it made me nervous thinking of the gun just laying in the console. This was a quick and easy install to make sure they, or anyone else, doesn’t access it.

Looks good. TN better than NY. MANY restrictions involved even to take it hunting upstate because you are travelling through the "city" even though it's the outskirts on highway. No concealed carry unless multiple requirements met. different counties also have different laws on ownership, registration and transport.

Yeah, TN isn’t too complicated as long as you have your concealed carry permit.

Is the safe only able to hold a compact or sub compact? It doesn’t look like it’ll fit a standard or full size platform handgun.

Simple little project today. I added hood struts from Redline Tuning. The part number is 21-18017-02. Super simple install with no modifications needed. I think it took about 15 minutes from start to finish.

Sorry for the crappy photo, but post pics or it didn’t happen. Right?

Today I installed my ATF cooler, SVCM, Wiper blades, headlight bulbs(high and low), cross threaded a bolt and stripped a screw. Yesterday was baby seat, cargo cover, cargo net and put the full sized spare in the well.

Great reason for me to clean out the center console and start using it.

I got baby wipes, head phones and garbage.
