Replaced NGK Laser Platinum spark plugs with NGK Ruthenium HX plugs on my 03'. Oil change with Amsoil 0w-40 Signature Series oil and Amsoil EA filter. Why 0w-40 instead of the recommended 5w-20? The 0w will flow a little faster on cold starts in the winter and the 40 will protect much better on 90F+ (outside air temp.) summer days.
Also, I called NGK and verified that sparkplugs.com is an authorized distributor/seller (they didn't have them listed on their website) so, I get real plugs and not counterfeits. Yes, there is a whole world of fake/counterfeit auto parts out there and I would recommend not buying auto parts off of Ebay. If you're not buying directly from the stealership, definitely go to the manufactures website and look up their authorized distributor/seller's and if they don't have this information posted give them a call.

Weathertechs or something equally custom-measured make a huge difference. My only complaint is that they only cover the dead pedal halfway. Why just a h[email protected] design? Your snowy, slushy, salty boot then leaks much of its crud above the cutoff, and that drips and hardens beneath the mat in that area.
In your own slow, staggered way, did you comply with Honda's brake bleeding sequence?
One thing that might've made your job less blasphemous, short of lowering the subframe, is a ratcheting version of that half moon wrench.

Pardon the uncustomary abandonment of my post this morning, but I was out in the garage sweating in the tropical 12 C heat removing my Hakkas and installing my Michies. OK world, I'm ready for summer. Everybody get your shot and then let's let loose like it's the end of Prohibition.

For the past 5 years, I've always been dissatisfied with the fact that my (expensive) Weathertech Floorliner driver's side mat only covers half the dead pedal.
But lo and behold, these came up near Ottawa, and the seller assured me they perfectly fit in her 2007.

It was a lovely day on Thursday, the first day of the year to reach above 20 C, so a perfect excuse for a day trip up along the Ottawa River from Montreal to the nation's capital. I pulled my Hakkas and shod my Michies Wednesday. My wife was also looking forward to getting out a bit after a long winter and COVID measures, so she packed a delicious picnic which we enjoyed right in front of ducks and a gaggle of Canada geese also making a pit stop near a meandering stream, presumably on their migration even further north.

We met a very nice couple who let us have the Husky set for $40, and since they were about to trade in their 2007 at the dealership to get a Passport (@Daltongang Alert!!), they sold us their crossbars for the same price. I'll be giving those to my daughter.
All in all a thoroughly enjoyable and productive day, On the way up, we took the scenic route and saw great swaths of mist rising from farmers' fields as the last of the snow evaporated, and on the way back I put some good carbon-cleaning highway miles on my 2006, which had been doing little more than grocery getting all winter.

I've had a Kijiji alert out all this time and one finally popped for Husky mats, which do cover the entire dead pedal, for a 2007 Pilot. Previous alerts were only for second and third gen Pilots, to my dismay, and so I figured that one for 1st gens were not simply out of production, but that they had never been produced, since I had found no evidence of their existence.

No longer. I splurged late last year and had a great body shop to properly fabricate and redo those rear fenders that were starting to show a little rust.
My daughter drove me out in her Pilot today to go pick up my Pilot.
Got tired of fruitlessly searching and waiting around for unobtainium fender flares. You know, to cover up the start of body rust where the sides of the plastic rear bumpers come up to the rear quarter panel. Yeah there -- don't pretend that you don't know, rust belt 1st genners. The tipping point was when rust started to appear above the windshield corners. They don't even make no OEM windshield flare to hide that. So I started my search for a good, old school body shop that's been in business for many years and doesn't pooh-pooh non-insurance jobs.
Found one. A bit far, though, but well-recommended. A father and son place that takes pride in their work and that doesn't try to overcharge you. It took them almost all month, but now my 2006 looks like it just drove off the showroom floor. The guys fabricated custom body parts so as not just to bury the rust, but to replace it everywhere it was hiding beneath the surface. And the Nighthawk Black Pearl paint job and blend are spotless. OK, it set me back a couple grand and a half, but my Pilot runs so well when I take care of it, I want to keep it going a good long while. I'm OK with spending some of all the money I've saved over the years by using Maxlife ATF instead of DW-1
