Has anyone had any issues with a white wax residue spilling on the door cover?

The issue started two weeks ago, and I thought one of my kids had drop something on the car. This morning there was more residue on the door cover.

There are plenty of products out there... here is one.

Just test it on a small area first to make sure it doesn't discolor the plastic. It shouldn't but that's always the recommendation when putting a chemical on your vehicle.

So that crap just magically appeared?
I wasn't going to ask but I look at the pictures and wonder what the hell happened in the back of that Pilot... Dirty Mike and the Boys must have got ahold of it.

I've used rubbing alcohol on this kind of plastic with no issues. Just dont get alcohol on the painted bezel around the shifter, console or dash. It will ruin the finish.

I can't believe it. I'm so embarrassed even to post what caused the wax issue.

My wife left inside the middle door handle my daughter's baptism candle when she was baptized in March. I was breaking my head as to what was leaking inside the door panel. I guess it happens to all of us.

Oh jeez… definitely not a hobo gangbang. I mean, worst case, take a hair dryer or heat gun and melt it onto a piece of cardboard on the floor.
