I just bought a 2007 Pilot with 147,000 miles.
My Triangle light comes on when I start the vehicle and the VSA light comes on a few minutes after I start driving.
I feel a pulse in the pedal when I brake; I'm guessing I have warped rotors.
No codes show on my Torque ELM327.

Could the warped rotors be triggering the VSA Light?

Does the Triangle Light only go off when it's reset by a Honda specific diagnostic tool?

Reading related forum posts make me suspicious the answer might be yes to both questions.

Thanks, Mark

Couple of things first...

Do you know when the VTM-4 fluid was last changed? Use OEM Honda VTM-4 fluid only.

Read through here. Before thinking "warped rotors," there are a couple of ways you can reset those lights yourself before taking it to the dealer's HDS machine.

Thanks plplplpl!
It took three attempts to clear the codes with the first procedure; the second procedure then turned off both the ! Triangle and VSA lights. I don't know when the fluid was changed, I'll do it soon. This forum is an amazing resource.

Apparently, the VSA light is triggered by many things going on with it.

On my 08 FWD (front wheel drive)- no VTM4, it was mainly the lil flow into the Vtec solenoid.
An honest shop fixed it for me.
I'm assuming you do regular oil changes, etc. This affects it too.
Without nay codes though, it's hard to nail down.
As I said, it could be other things as the VTM4 as mentioned, etc.

Often time, a code can be a result of many different things, such as the 'misfire in cylinder-x'

Sometimes when the ECU gets data from various sensors, it throws a code, etc.

When my VSA light cam on and stayed on- on out FWD, every drive from cold at about 30 minutes, it would go into limp mode also.- It threw some codes though.

As far as you warped rotors go- I need the face palm emogi for that one.

Good luck
