so i am kind of tired of the bright white LED interior bulbs i've had for a while now. couple of them flicker now, license plate bulb is out. so i'm basically just looking to do an upgrade from about 8 years ago and wondering if anyone has come across any warm white LEDs or even RGB bulbs for the interior lights. i know i mentioned the license plate bulb too but it was in the package i bought before. anyone's help is appreciated. thanks in advance.

SuperBright LEDs has bulbs in various brightness, colors and temperature ranges. Mine work great, but I went for the "stadium lighting" effect in the back. Their selection helper wasn't complete, though - it took some additional effort to find bulbs with the right dimensions in the configurations I wanted.

great thank you for your input...now school me on a few things, what do you mean by stadium lighting? you talking the amount of brightness and color? also, the right dimensions and configurations? thought it was just one bulb type for each specific area?

I wanted very bright light in the back, in a bright white color. Since LED's don't put out much heat, I chose the brightest "natural white" bulbs that I could get to fit into the lamps.

you talking the amount of brightness and color?
Yes. More lumens and a color temp of around 4000K. "Warmer" light will be more like 3000K.

Their selector will show you an assortment of bulbs that can go in each location, depending on the connector type and the length / diameter of the bulb for some. There are other options that are close and will work, and you might prefer them over what the selector tells you.

For example, for the "grab rail" lights in my Pilot, I used a different bulb to get more lumens. The bulb that was long enough was slightly smaller in diameter than OEM. I cut some copper strips to make shims between the clips in the lamp and the round ends of the bulbs. Works like a champ, although it was a little fiddly to put together.
