My 2008 Pilot has had the check engine light on for a while. I know dealer said I need to change the O2 sensor but have not yet. I recently had the VTM-4 light come on after a rain storm. I am not sure if this a factor or not. The light does go off if I shut off car and restart. I have a scanner and the codes I get are: P0138, P0141 and P2271. These are all tied to Bank 1 Sensor 2 and they say sensor heater voltage, sensor heater circuit and sensor signal stuck rich. It sounds like if I change out that O2 sensor that might resolve all my issues. I am just scratching my head on the VTM-4 light as that fluid was changed about 20K miles ago. Just wondered if anyone else has had a similar issue and what there fix was. My pilot has 206K miles and I love it. Just want to keep it going.

I'd 1st replace the lower O2 sensor on the catalytic converter, firewall side.
Sometimes the VTM-4 light comes on when other things fail.
I'd only use Denso or NTK. All else proves to fail.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Oh wait, I could have. I could have provided much more useful actual links rather than [email protected] screenshots. :p

More Information for DENSO 2344368

Hasn't stopped me. When my commission rolls in, it’s bound to be a doozy. :)

Well you haven't been accused of being in cahoots with Valvoline & Sumitomo. Threatened that your account will be flagged as commercial. Lol

FIFY (In case you haven't already noticed, I'm terrible at photoshopping.) That said, I'd rather have snake oil inside than oil leaking outside. It works.

If it can plug a leak, I'm just worried about what else it plugs. Like my oil filter.

I've heard you can change those out from time to time. :)
Guess I should use a cheapy oil filter with a poor micron rating so that sticky stuff can flow. :p

Or not, since it's a polymer and flows like water.
