VSA and VTM-4 lights are coming on. 2008 Pilot. lights come on and car slows down a bit. GF's car here so I haven't witnessed it yet... she ends up pulling over and re-starting the car and that seems to work. This has happened 4x or so within the last few days. Are there VSA and VTM-4 plugs that need to get cleaned/re-connected? Also.. CEL is on.. lots of issues but that has been on for a while. ECU is one of them.. thinking maybe issues connected? But who knows.. open to your thoughts, thanks.

I’d get the codes read. Your options are:
1) Shop with Honda specific code reader
2) Jumper method to read main codes but not subcodes on the dash. It’s a pain if there are a bunch of codes
3) Purchase a Honda specific code reader. Mine cost me $170 which is the cost of one diagnostic at my local dealer, and that was my justification for the purchase.

Note if you get a generic code reader it will likely not report some, if not all, of the trouble codes. My generic code reader was 0 for 7; according to it my Pilot was just fine.
