Hello everyone, I am new here and was hoping someone could help me with this issue. So I had my CV axles replaced due to torn boots. After I got the car back I felt vibration coming from what feels like the front end. I spoke with the mechanic and he said he would put another pair or CV axles, now 3 axles later I still have the issue. I know he's not using OEM parts and he did say he would take the original axles out of the scrap pile and replaces the boots, but he didn't do that the 3rd time which I thought he was going to do. I do have issues with my transmission pressure switches, I have the flashing D and the fault code shows that as well. A week ago I did pull up the fault code p0471 when I just went in to see if anything would pop up but it was just that one time and I can't get it pop back up again. When I took the car in for the third time for the axle issue I told the mechanic and he later got back to me and tried telling me it could be the torque converter causing the vibration. I'm at a loss, I don't know if it is coincidence that after the joints the torque converter went or if this is an issue with non OEM CV axles. Does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks.
