In the wire diagram you will see a green wire with a black stripe going from the reverse relay to the Nav unit. This wire sends the signal to the nav unit when in reverse and turns on the camera.

I cut the wire and installed a diode in the lin, I ran a hot wire thru a toggle switch (Double throw single pole) to both sides of the diode. The wire on the nav side turns on the camera but the diode prevents the power from going to and turning on the backup lights, the other wire I ran to the other side of the diode and it will turn on the camera and the backup lights at the same time, this way I have a choice.

I use my Pilot to pull a boat and now I can watch the boat on the trailer as I am pulling it forward up a launch ramp day or night.

The wire can can be found at one of the blue connectors under the passenger side center console cover.:1:

Thanks very much for posting this! There are just a few of us that have the camera right now, but this will be an excellent reference over time.
