My 2019 Pilot (76,000 miles) recently started popping up 2 warnings simultaneously:

Transmission Systems Problems and Blind Spot Info System Problem. (also shows flashing PND)

The error pops up intermittently. I've driven 150 miles, no error, but sometimes it will throw the error on short trips around town. My OBD reader does not show any codes when the error pops up and I don't feel any change while driving. It accelerates and shifts with no issues. The only change is the blind spot detection stops working.

Took it to the dealer and they said it threw a P177A error. They flushed the transmission and did not find any metal in the fluid. The very next day the error popped up on a drive of less than 3 miles. Has anyone else seen had this issue and have a fix?

Hello From NE OhIo,
My 2022 Pilot had the same exact messages. (Transmission Systems Problems and Blind Spot Info System Problem ).
I asked local Independent Mechanic to look at it BEFORE I went to the dealer.

Their Aultel device and their Database indicated dirt in the center located Shift console. Solution/debugging was to
1) clear the code and see if it happened again, 2) Move the center Shift Console buttons, and 3) Clean the Shift Console area.
I did step 2 and 3 - which cleared the error messages. Drove for a couple of days without error messages, cleared the codes that was back around 24 August 2025. Keeping the console cleaner seems to work.

Thank you for the suggestion! I'm going to try this later today and will post a follow up in a few days.
