Hi. My bride has a 2018 Pilot EX-L. A code had us change the Transfer Case oil at 15000 miles. I was told to do this every 15K and we are nearing 30K. She doesn’t tow and is pretty easy on the car. We do a good bit of highway travel too. Can I push this maintenance out further or is it wise and cheap enough to do it at 30K myself. I’ve never done this before but do most maintenance on all my cars. Wonder if there is a how to video available that applies to this year/model pilot. Thank you!!!

75w85 is difficult to find. Of course Honda sells their brand.
There are many who are having no issues with using a full synthetic 75w90 GL-5 rated gear oil that is less priced and is more readily available at your local Wal-Mart or parts store.
Valvoline has this in an easy to use squeeze bag. Supposed #1 selling gear oil...
