I do an oil and filter change every 5000 miles and include a tire rotation. Discount Tire store near me does FREE rotation and balancing even though I didn't buy the tires from them. They also include FREE flat repair without purchase.

Rotation helps the tires wear evenly, you get a close look and see if there is any damage to the tire or rims, and the tire pressure is also checked and adjusted. I used to do my own rotations until Discount Tire opened the store near me.

I rotate front to back every other oil change or 10k miles. On occasion 15k because most of our miles are from going straight down the highway and it doesn’t need it. I could see every oil change 5k if you make a lot of left and right turns in city traffic.

I used to do it every 7kish, now I try to do it every 5k, especially on my Odyssey. I don't care as much about it on my Accord but with the way my Odyssey eats rubber for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I'm a little aggressive in tire maintenance to try and get as long of a life as possible. My last set only lasted around 27k.
Most of mine wind up getting rotated at winter tire change time, my Accord maybe one other. Pilot is averaging 10k/year with 3-4 of that on winter tires. Daughter's CRV is less than 5k yearly currently with winter tires on from November-April. Son's Forte about 7k yearly. My Accord sees the most at 15-20k with 5-6 months on the winters.
