Hi., Everyone I would like to ask if if this kit could actually be Honda Genuine?
Have anyone used any Honda Genuine parts from ebay or allpartsdiscount.com? My pilot is 146k timing belt was never changed.
Do you guys recommend an specific kit that works well a 2007 EXL? Thank you in advance!

I bought a similar kit on Amazon without knowing existence of these threads. It was too late then. So I am using one of these. My two previous belts were one new and one dealer-installed. This time I had small shop did the TB. Price was below half total so I am happy price-wise. So far my Pilot performs normally, there is no difference. I don't pull trailer, I drive it under 75mph and aware not to push it to extreme limits.

If it takes specialist with keen eyes to tell the differences then the difference is ... just missing stamp of 'genuine'. Perhaps.

Wait a minute, the local shop saved the used parts upon my request. And I have another set which was intended for my BIL but he just had it done. Now, I can have them side by side.

Get Aisin TKH002 from RockAuto. The Ebay sellers are assembling kits. Many of which will use the name Aisin because they may put their water pump in it, but doesn't have the Koyo bearings and no telling where the tensioner and belt come from. Or they use part # TKH002 but are not an authentic Aisin kit.
Dont get burned, the cheap kit isn't worth a $4,000 replacement engine job later on.

Not worth the risk. Several people have bought timing belt kits on eBay and the belt has broken.
Go on RockAuto and buy the Aisin kit. It is widely used by people who are on this forum.
Oh brother get genuine Honda parts that how I bought my Honda for $ 500 the guy went and bought a timing kit aftermarket and the tensioner seals gave out causing the belt to break and bending all the valves and I also noticed that the water pump was leaking

Aisin is fine if you want to save some $$$$ I’ve installed a bunch.. anything else steer clear and “genuine” probably isn’t if you buy it cheap third party.

AISIN KITS....,
Aisin Water pump = OEM Supplier
Aisin tensioner = OEM Supplier
Koyo Bearings = OEM Supplier
Mitsuboshi Timing Belt = OEM Supplier
Be confident in buying authentic Aisin brand Timing Belt Water Pump Kits at less than half the price from the dealership.
I recently bought an Aisin Kit for a Chevrolet Sonic. It had GM Bearings.
I've installed so many of their kits that I've lost count. Not one failure.
