Thule Evo Raised Rail w/ 60" wingbar evo bars.

Just installed 60" Thule bars on my pilot. I wanted a 60" so I could fit a box and 2 bike racks.

Keep in mind that it doesn't fit put of the box. The 60" wingbar evo's mounting channel underneath is about 1" too wide to fit the 2023 pilot rear rails. I had to cut 0.5" on each side to extend channel for the rear bar. The front has no problem.

I'm also waiting for the towing package to arrive, too.

Yes, my car is dirty. Lol. View attachment 170110

Nice! I am just about to install the same thing on mine. I have the bars from a previous car but need new mounts. So you're saying you had to modify the Evos? Any pics you can post of that?

Yeah. You have to modify one of the bars so they fit the rear as the rear rails are closer together than the fronts.

On the bottom of the bar there's a channel on both sides. You just need to extend the channel by about 1" to 1.5".

It's aluminum, so it's pretty soft. It's quite easy to cut. I just cut 2 straight lines extending the channel then pushed the flap downwards into the bar. In hindsight, I should've pulled it outward and snapped it off.

If you have an angle grinder or a saw it will make quick work of it. I used my Milwaukee m12 hackzall with a metal saw blade.

I'll try to get you a photo later.
Thanks! Which bar length do you have? I think you said 60inch but want to confirm..I think I know the channels you are referring to that you modified. They are underneath at each end of the bar stock itself?

The car only calls for the 53" wing bars so that may be why you had to modify. It's preference of course and how much overhang you prefer. I already own the 53s and just want to make use of them. Your's looks great though.
