They're saying 300 mi. range, overnight 100% recharge?

0-60 4secs. 700+ ft. lbs. TQ? 10,000 towing?

I would think that 300 mile range would be under perfect/ideal driving conditions....doubt it's anywhere close to 300 miles towing 10K lbs. I thought Federal Law required EV mfgs. to have a 8 yr/100K mile warranty on the battery/powertrain. 🤷‍♂️
yep. Offroad with 4 passengers with the A/C running is going to kill the range. One hr recharging isn't going to cut it driving through a city you're not familiar with. Infrastructure is not there yet and batteries have a ways to go.

My commute is 3 miles each way... most days, including daycare pickups and errands I put less than 30 miles on my vehicle. I am the perfect candidate and finally glad to see some normal looking and functioning vehicles. I don't want my vehicle to look like a spaceship, I want it to blend in and just look normal.

Now, can they do an Expedition Lighting? I know I just told @xGS that I hate the Ecoboost and wouldn't consider an Expedition, but an Expedition Max with 200-250 miles of usable range would be absolutely perfect for me.

These and other posts regarding factors which might affect the max range of any EV? Well Duh!

At least technology is moving, forward?

I like the the fact that whatever powers these things is NOT a piston(s) moving up and down 1000's of times a minute! I got nothing against Pistons Per se, but....
So I want to tow a boat to Lake Amistad in Del Rio Texas, to do a little bass fishing.
Knew I'd heard of Del Rio TX somewhere before. Say Hallelujah!

Watch out with the H word. It's not Kosher in the Pilot forum, I've been told.

Now, why might that be?
Either definition of the word seems quite benign: Definition of HALLELUJAH

A men's hair product.
I'm thinking it will be a very slow transition. Especially if we have some actual brain cells running the country in a few years.
It would be a very slow transition if left up to market demand. However, with several automakers having already given dates when they will stop making ICE vehicles, either they will lose billions in lost sales when they do that, or change their plans. The many, many issues with going all electric have some enormous hurdles to get over, with grid reliability, capacity and new power plant construction needed being just a few problems.

My personal opinion, and that of some experts, is it will by hydrogen fuel cells that will offer a more achievable future than all electric. Unless, of course, we see charging stations installed at every parking spot in every apartment complex and every parking spot along city streets where millions of people have to park their cars when at home being built in the not-to-distant future. Any bets on that happening?

I hope your right. Just know that electric vehicles are being added to the grid as we speak. If you were ever thinking about owning a whole house generator, now's the time. I'm thinking natural gas since it seems we have a large supply where I live.
Ask California residents about using natural gas. Some cities have banned gas in new homes and many others, as well as the state, are working on banning gas in new homes. That leaves what? Electric from the grid or solar pretty much.

Although I don't consider myself an expert (you're too kind), I have been a voice crying in the wilderness. :)

Shell has three hydrogen filling stations in the vicinity of Montreal.
Have you ordered a Toyota Mirai, yet?
If not, for what are you waiting?
...for?

For hydrogen technology to be used in...

What's your next suv going to be?
