I would think that 300 mile range would be under perfect/ideal driving conditions....doubt it's anywhere close to 300 miles towing 10K lbs. I thought Federal Law required EV mfgs. to have a 8 yr/100K mile warranty on the battery/powertrain. 🤷‍♂️

yep. Offroad with 4 passengers with the A/C running is going to kill the range. One hr recharging isn't going to cut it driving through a city you're not familiar with. Infrastructure is not there yet and batteries have a ways to go.
