So I’m at 130k miles and I’m at the point where I plan to keep my pilot for at least another 100k miles and want to go through and replace all the tires suspension parts. I’m a VW guy and know the good companies that make VW parts for my corrado’s suspension (febi/Bilstein, FAG, Meyer), what brands are the leaders for Honda Pilot parts?

Honda will be on my list but who makes the oem parts? Typically their label costs less than the Honda label.

I want to replace:
control arm bushings
Ball joints
Shocks struts and attaching pieces (mounts and bump stops and what not)
Sway bar bushings

Any other suggested pieces?

I’m not in a rush, I plan to acquire all the bits and then do the work later this summer. I do a lot of in-depth work on my Corrado so I’m not to concerned about iron the Pilot.

>>control arm bushings
>>Ball joints

On first-gens, these are integrated into the LCA, so I can't help with that.

>>Shocks struts and attaching pieces (mounts and bump stops and what not)

KYB. Buy the complete strut and a new mount. You can usually get a deal if you buy 4 KYB struts and shocks together.

>>Sway bar bushings

Honda. They're cheap.

>>Any other suggested pieces?

Sway bar links, tie rod ends, Honda for all. Not much more expensive than third-party.

I did a brake fluid flush and replaced all the fasteners (nuts and bolts) with Honda while I had it apart.
