Hi,

My friends 2006 Honda Pilot has a stripped oil drain bolt. She bought a pump to get the oil out and I'm going to do it for her but I'm not sure where exactly I could stick the tube at to get to the bottom of the oil pan.

Would sticking it in the hole where the oil filter is at work? If so would it go in the center hole or the larger outer hole. I think the oil gets pumped from the pan and through the center hole so that one, but I really don't know. If either of those holes are the way then I'd guess the hose doesn't need to be that tiny in diameter.

If it would need to be stuck down the oil fill tube what size tube would fit?

I appreciate any assistance.

The smaller or the two included will fit. You can also mark it with a sharpie when holding it next to the dipstick to ensure you go far enough. Just don't force it in there.
