hey all, have a 2012 EX-L that the SRS light has come on. Says its passenger side inflator open circuit. Has anyone had this issue and what did dealer do for you? Looks to be $900+ part plus labor. Don’t feel like I should have to pay for something like this with Honda history of airbag problems. Thanks.

What is the code #?
It should lead you to either the air bag in the dash, seat or side. Has anyone worked on anything recently?
Just remember, when plugging and unplugging yellow SRS conectors, it's important to disconnect the negative battery terminal for at least 10 minutes before.

There have been at least a couple recall and inflator replace campaigns on Pilots. If Honda has done the recall fixes on your car, .and. it's the passenger dash airbag that's giving you the warning, an open in that loop is theirs to fix. If they haven't done the recall service yet, now seems like a great time.

Contact the dealer with your VIN, and see if there are any open airbag recall campaigns for your car.
