Splash Guards Installed

Did a quick search to see if anyone had already posted photos of the splash guards installed, and didn't see any, so figured I'd share a few pics. Just had mine installed along with door edge films. Very unobtrusive looking and complement the lines I think.

Does anyone know how easy it is to install yourself? I was competent enough to install the roof racks on my old 2012 pilot.

I have a set of splash guards sitting in my garage for when my Pilot arrives, so I'll let you know hopefully in the near future.

I found the install instructions and quick video. Definitely doable.

I'll be adding some soon.

There is some cutting involved. Other than that very easy.

It seemed like it wouldn’t be too hard or time consuming from the pdf I found on College Hills Honda’s website. I just took the lazy way lol.

Aren't these standard equipment on all models?

They are on the spec sheet in Canada as standard across the board?

Yup. The are listed on the 2023 feature spec sheet here in the US as standard on all models. Here is a Window Sticker of a TrailSport I am looking at but it doesn't specifically call out Splash Guards or Mud Flaps. So far the TrailSport have been hard to find at dealerships.

That’s interesting. I’ve seen lots of examples that don’t have them. Maybe they changed the inclusion of them and didn’t update the feature spec sheet?

My Elite that I have on order doesn't come with them. Must only be on the TS.

I think that probably is the case. I've visited a few dealerships here in DFW over the last few days and with TrailSports just hitting the lots the salespeople don't know much about the specifics. I know the spec sheet says it has them but I didn't specifically look for them when I was on the lot (didn't know about the reference on the spec sheet). I'm going to go again next week and I'll make sure to check.

Those are tiny! I’m thinking more of a mudflap that extends down an inch or 4.

Follow up to my own post: I was at a dealership today and the TrailSport I looked at DID have the small mudflaps on it. Not real big however and certainly did not extend down more than 2" or so. Also, they were part of the 'ProPack' that comes from the factory that way. It also included Window Tint, Cargo Tray, Wheel Lug Nut Lock. The Window Tint I would be interested in because I live in Texas and the UV sun can really ruin a car interior. The other stuff, not so much. There was also a LoJack system that the dealer installed. All told the additional markup was $2,999. The salesman said that was negotiable (better be!). Also, it had a hood decal that I've seen in some of the utoob vids. Don't know if I like it tho.

RallyArmor are too flimsy. Gorilla Guards are the best mudflaps I had on my FXT.
Sigh... Wrong forum...

Yes. IMHO, that’s a splash guard or what I call a mud flap.
Picked up my Pilot today and installed the splash guards in my garage this evening. Pretty easy install. I was slightly hesitant about cutting into the rear fender liners but the perforations weren't hard to find.

I used a socket wrench and adapter with a Phillips drill bit so that I didn't have to take the rear wheels off.

I just did it myself yesterday. Took me about 1.5 hrs total. The front were very quick, the back took longer due to having to cut into the wheel well (it's kind of a thick, rigid felt-like material) and fit a couple of spring nuts through on each side, and I wasn't working with great lighting. I also used a ratcheting socket wrench with Phillips head.

My 2021 Pilot, and my former 2012, came with splash guards, called mud flaps when I was young, from the dealer already installed. That is one option I want.
