On my wife's 2016 Pilot Touring if the L-R mirror adjustment selector switch is moved to either L or R that mirror will move outboard by itself until it reaches the end of travel and then click continually. The car is going to the dealer for timing belt replacement next month and I want them to fix this also unless it is something I can do myself cheaply or easily. Is this a problem anyone else has experienced? Thanks!

Update:

I decided to take the switch out and see if there was a method to disassemble it and potentially clean it. Upon removal of the dash panel I got the switch out by removing two screws and then pried the module open at four places to expose the sliding contacts and mechanism. There was a little bit of grease, which I would expect, but nothing excessive. I did clean all contacts including the grease, along with some apparent soiling, on the board. Install was reverse of removal. So far the mirrors do not move uncontrollably. We'll see how they do over the next few days, but this may have fixed it.
