Yes! They can be repaired!!!!
My left one came of great and the right one had the tab break off as it shot across the garage. Called Tim and everyone else and they are on back-order unti mid-August. I decided to try some glue in the hope it would hold until then.
Went to Home Depot and purchased a product by Super Glue called Plasti-Fuse. Has a small bottle of primer and a tube of glue. Put on the primer, let it dry (dries in about 10 seconds), put the glue on and hold the tab for about 30 seconds. PRESTO! It was solid as a rock! I tried to break it back off again in my hand and it was really on their tight.
Went out to the Pilot, lined it up and it snapped right back in place.
I still may order one from Tim in case it does pop off, but for right now it's working great!
