so i was shopping prices for tie rod ends for my pilot when i decided to give rock auto a try. i compared shopping cart totals from 3 local part stores against rock autos shopping cart total. best total i came up with at a local parts store for 2 inner & 2 outer tie rod ends was $133. went to rock auto and used the 5% discount, i got the 2 inner tie rod ends, 2 outer tie rod ends, 2 sway bar end links, a new radiator cap and a haynes manual for $122 shipped. heck of a savings. check them out for parts if its not something you need same day.

I've bought parts from RockAuto before as well. My only problem is that I live in Ontario Canada. The parts ARE less expensive but shipping absolutely kills any savings. It just isn't fair -- they call it free trade -- biggest oxymoron there is...

If RockAuto could have a Canadian warehouse I think many more Canadians would be ordering from them. I sure would.
