Hi everyone! I have a 2012 EX-L and recently am unable to play music in the car through my iPhone. Am hoping this is not related to a recent phone update.

Generally I keep a USB-to-Ligntning cable plugged in to the USB port in the center console, and plug in my phone when I get in the car so I can charge it and play music. I now get a persistent message on the car's screen, saying "retry connection," and the phone will not connect to the car.

I've tried the usual troubleshooting - unplugging and re-plugging the phone repeatedly, checking the connection between the cable and the car's USB port, switching out the USB cable for a new cable, turning on and off the infotainment system, and restarting the car.

Next step will be trying to connect the phone to the car via a 3.5mm-to-Lightning cable, using the AUX port rather than the USB port (waiting for this cable to arrive from Apple).

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Anyone know what might be going on, or how to fix?

Thanks in advance.
