I have a 2019 Pilot Touring that comes with the RES. One of the options is to play videos using the USB. I assume this means a USB thumb drive, but I can't figure out what format I'm supposed to use in order for them to play, and I can't find any info in the manual or online. Has anyone had any success with this? I would love some guidance.

Though this is an older thread, here it goes. The entertainment system is very similar to the one in the Gen 5 Odyssey.
Get an USB stick that is 32GB or less and format it as FAT. Video files in AVI, MPG or MPEG normally do play. I download videos off YouTube and typically they are in the MP4 with AAC audio encoding. They play on the RES with no issues (on my G5 Odyssey). Just make sure you are on the right USB port for Media.
