Hi,

I just ordered a Kenwood DDX9705S to replace the stock navi/radio in my 2007 EX-L. The plan is to put it into the upper slot where the screen is located. Question is what to do with the lower slot where the radio part sits in. I hoped that there would be some aftermarket part like a storage slot to put into that space.
Anybody done this before and able to help?

After some further research I found the Metra Stereo Dash Kit.
Looks like this might work.

Not sure if you realized that the model of HU you posted is a double din radio ..there will be no "space" under the HU like a single din would make . make sure you are ordering the correct dash kit for this . Happy motoring

Want to jump in on this thread, I am wanting to replace the factory radio on a 2007 Pilot LX. I have the single DIN version with storage below, see attached picture. Can I replace it with a double din version and remove the storage area? I know a dash kit would be required and possibly some cutting/removing of trim to make it into a double din slot, I can't seem to find any tutorials on this
