I brought it up to our salesman, however, I don't know how long it's going to take for him to get it fixed but I figured I'd ask here and see if anyone has any experience with fixing the air vent tabs in their Pilot?

We just bought a used 2017 Elite over the weekend and the right air vent tab on the middle console (above the rear climate and DVD input/outputs) is missing. Now, I can do a quick Google search and find air vent tab replacements for a wide variety of vehicles but I can't seem to find any for a Pilot.

It appears the air vent tabs are just impossible to replace yourself without replacing the entire vent assembly, or am I missing something?

Did you ever figure out how to replace the vent tab clip? I have a 2019 Elite and sort of the same problem. I have the tab clip that goes into the vent (my kid kicked it off) but it seems impossible to snap it back on. I keep dropping one half of it in the vent because there is no space for me to fit me fingers in there to snap it back into place. It seems that I need to take the entire vent diffuser blade out to snap it back on...not sure what I'm missing here...

Did you ever solve this problem? I have the exact same vehicle and I am missing the exact same parts.

The rear vent clip is 2 pieces that snap together onto the rail. I replaced a missing one and found that using something flat (like trim removal tools) with double sided tape to hold the upper portion of the clip in place as the bottom snapped into it.
Had to shine a light into the vent to align the vent clip fingers to the back portion. This worked well for me and the clip was installed in a minute.
Recently found the correct one on Ebay. VentTabs brand doesn't appear to have anything for a 17' Honda Pilot EXL let alone anything comparable.
Sometimes you can find a
Genuine OEM Console Rear Air Vent for Honda (83410TG7A01ZB) from a donor/ salvage listed online for the same price as the vent clip (if they made one) and just use the vent clip. Pulling off the trim surrounding the whole vent is daunting yet possible but risks breaking a clip. Once you get that off, 4 screws hold the entire vent in place. Can't help but wonder if the missing vent tab ended up down inside the vent?

Same thing happed to my 2017 EX-L but it was on the left (kid kicked it off). I was able to put them together but it was a pain. Found out the other day it happened again and I think the lower piece went into the vent.
