Hi,
I had my 2010 pilot check engine light on, brought to local auto shop, end up with $1245 for the replacement of all 6 coils and spark plugs+ fuel system clean.....I feel I was been ripped off, am I?

Yes that's way too much for that and probably not necessary.

Have you had the ring service done caused by the VCM damage? You probably didn't need coils.

If purchased at Honda for list/MSRP price: $370 for the set of six coil packs. Most shops will mark up what they charge for parts. Your shop doubled the parts cost. You could talk to them about it and see what they say. Since the shop changed the spark plugs the coil packs had to be removed anyways so no additional labor was involved.
